Here
are
the results for the
local elections which were marked by a dramatic increase for the Liberal
Democrats, who more than doubled their number of seats in Tower Hamlets.
The BNP,
Conservatives, and Socialist Alliance failed to get off the ground, all
scoring "nul points". Turnout was 30.4%, down 15% on the
general election.
