Broken Wall

Now  Dangerous

Click for update on this story

The wall between London Yard and the neighbouring estate is now dangerous. The local authority, whose responsibility the River Walkway is, has been informed.

Workman started knocking down the wall in order to extend the River Walkway in line with Council policy. It seems that they took one look at the reinforcement bars inside the wall and left after setting up freestanding barriers. This all happened at the beginning of June. Since then - nothing. Children play on the River Walkway - It is an accident waiting to happen.

I was not alone in thinking that if they objected to such mild comment, what would happen when there is valid criticism, and debate, on an important issue. I have therefore moved the site in order to protect its integrity and to ensure a proper flow of information and discussion for residents. The website is,
