New Colour Scheme for Van Gogh Court

Residents of Van Gogh Court will already have seen the new pale blue and fawn colour scheme gradually appearing in their corridors. 

The scheme was chosen by a Van Gogh Court resident with professional experience in interior design. 

The walls are pale blue; apartment doors, pale beige and door surrounds and fire doors, cream.

It is expected that the makeover will be completed before Christmas.

Frans Hals Court

The inside of Frans Hals Court is the next to be repainted. David Thompson and Christoph Noebel circulated a letter to residents of Frans Hals Court giving them a choice of schemes. The choice was as per Van Gogh Court or magnolia walls; burgundy apartment doors and cream door surrounds and fire doors.

Directors Wanted

The freehold of the communal areas and apartment blocks of the estate is owned by the London Yard Management Company Ltd whose shareholders are the 312 London Yard property owners. The shareholders elect an unpaid Board of Directors which is responsible for the level of service charges and the proper management of the estate.

In recent times a number of directors have stepped down from the Board and there is a desperate need to recruit new directors. At the instigation of director David Thompson the company has sent a letter to all shareholders inviting nominations for the Board to be elected, by the AGM, at the end of January. 

So, if you are eligible and would like to join the Board, do it now! Particularly if you support the website and are in favour of keeping residents informed about what is going on.
