Jonathan Leaving

Jonathan Channing is leaving us for pastures new. Jonathan has been the managing agent's representative looking after London Yard for almost three years. His last day will be the 19th of July. All who know him will be sorry that he is leaving David Glass Associates but we thank him for the excellent work he has done.

Welcome to Robert Bronson

Jonathan's replacement is Robert Bronson who takes over on 22nd July. He has 20 years experience of residential and commercial property management.

Caretaker Caught Moonlighting in Lisbon

Barry Morgan pictured working as a street cleaner whilst supposedly enjoying a Mediterranean Cruise. On being confronted with the discovery, his only response was, "Well, I have to keep my hand in."

Security Review

The planned security review of London Yard took place last month. The Metropolitan Police - Crime Prevention Design Adviser, Steve McDonald (centre) spent two hours walking around the estate and advising Adrian Drewett (far left) and Jonathan Channing (right) on improvements that could be made to security at London Yard. Steve came up with a number of detailed suggestions regarding individual properties and apartment blocks. He thought, however, that the main problem on the estate was its lighting. There are too many areas where a perp can lurk.

3 to 1 Say Posts Should Go

A poll of properties on Amsterdam Road have voted 3:1 in favour of cutting down the parking posts. Thousands of pounds worth of damage has been done to vehicles colliding with them.

So They Went

The posts have been cut down in the last week. Ricky Lewis broke four saws during the process. Discreet ways of marking the parking positions are being investigated and residents are asked to park thoughtfully so that no spaces are lost as a result of the changes.

Bulky Rubbish

If you have any bulky rubbish you can have it taken away for free by telephoning Tower Hamlets Council's Hotline: 020 7364 3364. Put it in a place that will not inconvenience other residents (but where it can be found by Council staff) and label it with the arranged date of collection. Please do not just dump it on the estate as collection then has to be paid for and is charged to the service charges.
