Halloween Party a Treat

The Halloween Party organised by Kate Hareb, Jamie Virtue and Ro Mills was frightening.

Held under the arches in Amsterdam Road, there were witches and warlocks galore. Black was clearly the 'in' colour this year but the spiked hats will never catch on.

Many spells were cast calling down all sorts of retribution on managing agents, members of the Board and neighbours with anti-social habits. If they work, the population of the Yard will decrease considerably by Christmas. All was not black, however, as little Lea (above) was busy casting her spell on everyone.

Christine Inglis, a former Chairman of the Board, in her true guise.

A Managing Agent claiming not to be a vegetable.

Not residents as such but they emerged from the gases at the bottom of the pond.

Vermeer Lift Refurbished

One of Vermeer Court's lifts became the first on the estate to be refurbished. The work was done by Ricky Lewis. The remaining lifts are scheduled for the same refurbishment.
