Security - Report any problems!

London Yard Management Company (LYMC) is undertaking a project to investigate ways of improving the security of London Yard Estate and the safety of its residents.

In order to understand the current levels of crime and antisocial behaviour (ASB) on London Yard, residents and owners are reminded to report all incidents to the London Yard Security Guard (07889 161615)and where appropriate to the police (020 75151212 or 999 in an emergency). The ASB 24 hour free phone reporting line is 0800 917 5918. This will assist the Estate with any case being made in the future to improve security. Options for improving security, which are in the very early stage of consideration by LYMC Board, range from improved signage, additional barriers, to erecting fencing and gating on parts of the estate.

Idiot local government

Tower Hamlets Council have now put locks on the recycling bins leaving a small gap in which to feed the large pink plastic bags that they provide for recycled waste. Naturally, residents are just dumping the bags next to the bins.

Contact Numbers

London Yard property owners are asked to ensure that Wood Management have a telephone number for them for use in emergencies.

Terrapin lays her eggs

A sight not often seen in London is a terrapin laying eggs. Richard Weedon of Leerdam Drive captured this photograph of her digging a nest on a lawn behind Leerdam Drive.

The terrapins have been in our pond since a resident dumped a pair about 15 years ago.
