Spring has sprung

Free Crab Lunch?
Chinese Mitten Crab in drain near the riverIn these depressed financial times, we should be looking for ways of reducing the cost of our food. Well, according to Dr. Paul Clark of the Natural History Museum, we could be cutting our food bills by eating our Chinese Mitten Crabs. In an interview with the BBC, he said that eating them was the best way to get rid of them - they are a pest.

Regular readers will remember that mitten crabs have been reported living in the drains of London Yard (see Londonyard.com of 1st November 2001). Dr Clark recommends that they are at their best when they begin to be sexually active although he didn't say when that would be. Any complaints regarding taste, being attacked whilst harvesting them or suffering from food poisoning after eating them should be directed to Dr. Clark - not the Editor.

Pictures Stolen

Ten pictures were stolen from the communal areas of Frans Hals Court during the weekend 14th and 15th of March.

Clearly someone let them in to the building and no one noticed them taking the pictures and loading them into a van.
