LONDON YARD
PARKING PERMIT SCHEME
Email mailto:parking@londonyard.com
In order to protect the interests of London Yard
residents from the parking facilities of London Yard being used by outsiders,
the Board of the London Yard Management Company introduced a parking permit
scheme.
Any vehicle parked on the London Yard estate,
which includes Amsterdam Road, Rotterdam Drive, Rembrandt Close and Leerdam
Drive, not displaying a Resident Parking Permit or a Visitor Parking Permit
will be clamped and subject to a £40 release fee.
Customers of the business premises and
restaurant will be able to park for up to 3 hours without a permit at
designated areas in front of the shops on Amsterdam Road and in the car park
immediately in front of the restaurant.
Parking Permits, both Resident and Visitor, can
be obtained from the Managing Agents, by completing an application form (one
form per vehicle) and attaching proof of vehicle ownership and residence
(photocopies only, please). Applications for Permits can also be made on the
web site www.londonyard.com
by clicking on the “P” icon at the Home Page. Visitor Permit applications
should attach proof of residence only. Visitor Permits are restricted to two
per household.
Permits will be delivered to your property by
London Yard staff. Under no circumstances will permits be posted to an address
not part of the London Yard development. This is to ensure that the applicant
is a resident. Property owners or leaseholders who rent out their property
should, when visiting their property, obtain a Visitor Permit from their tenant
or take advantage of the “3 hour” parking in front of the business premises or
restaurant in Amsterdam Road.
Permits are free of charge.
The parking scheme is enforced 24 hours per day,
seven days per week.
Note:
London Borough of Tower Hamlets Parking
Permits are not valid on the London Yard development.
London Yard Parking Permits are not valid on
roads off the development.
