The Board's decision, made at its last meeting, is intended to improve the garden maintenance on the development and make the best use of the limited soil quality available. It was felt that this could not be achieved using a garden contractor who supplied a number of people on a few occasions each month. The new company, Landscape Amenity Concepts Ltd, will provide a gardener working five days per week which will ensure the continuity of service season by season. The company has a proven track record of success on sites similar to London Yard. They will take on responsibility for the gardens sometime next month. |
Tree Pruning this Autumn
A contract to prune most of the trees in communal areas of London yard has been signed. Although some individual trees have been subject to the surgeon's knife in the past, this is the first time that all trees will have been examined, pruned and, where necessary, supported. |
